Yeaps.. God will be and is the subject matter of this blog. It will be a place where you can come and read and know about God, read His word, and hopefully takeaway something from here. As the blog name states... i pray that this is a place for us to come and be filled with God's word, logging off filled, desiring for more of Him.
God.. who is He?
He is the one who created heavens and the earth (Gen 1:1)
He is the one who created light, drakness, day and night. He is the one who sets the moon, stars and sun in its place;separates water and expanse - the sky and sea and land. Vegetations, animals, you n me... all in 6days (Gen1)
He is the one who instituted rest too... He rested on the 7th day, rested from all the work of creating He had done (Gen 2:1-2)
He is your creator and mine. Daily, every minute and every second, there's not a single moment where we are not reminded of His presence. Every thing we see, feel, touch and do reminds us that He is present, He is real, He exists.
God is the one who places rules and laws. He is sovereign in all things.
God is the one who loves you and me so much that He made a way for us whenever we are found lacking to be found in His presence.
Look at Adam and Eve( He punished them yet He clothed them), look at David ( He took away His firstborn and He forgave david, calling him a man after God's own heart) and how about us? the sinners..(Death is our wages, yet He gave His one and only Son who died for us, whether we chooose to acknowledge Him as God, King, Savior or not)----unconditional love, this is... giving people the freewill to choose.
God is love ( 1John 4:8-10,16).
"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth, This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us, For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything." I John 3:18-20

Today, let us receive the King and His blessings as we choose to obey His commands and do what pleases Him.
